About Steve
Steven W. Watkins, Esq
Steve was admitted to the Colorado bar in 1996 and the Kansas bar in 2022. Steve worked for many years in Golden, Colorado.Â
In 2025, Steve created the law firm Law Offices of Steven W. Watkins, LLC, in order to improve efficiency and services for his clients more proactively. Steve has extensive experience in construction contracts and litigation, real estate, contracts, general litigation and banking.
Steve is a past member of the Board of Directors of Senior Housing Options, Inc. a Colorado non-profit whose mission is to provide and promote quality affordable housing and services in a caring environment for older adults in Colorado. Steve is also a past member of the Board of Directors of the American Pointing Labrador Association.
Steve represents clients in both state and federal courts in Colorado, state courts in Kansas, various federal courts in the United States and the Tenth Circuit Court of Appeals.Â
Education
Steve obtained a J.D. in 1996 from the University of North Dakota School of Law, Grand Forks, North Dakota. While there Steve was a member of the UND law review.
